There will be 5 ships in Saint Maarten when we are in port. Is it still doable to rent a car and see the island in about 6 hrs time? How much time do you need to allow for turning in the rentl car to make it back to the ship on time? How is costal rental?

Hi. I've done a lot of research, reading many reviews which all seemed positive so we've booked a rental through Coastal for stop in St Maarten during our upcoming cruise in April. We plan to pick vehicle up at 9, drive clockwise around the island making many stops, and expecting to return rental back around 3p - should be no problem.

Here's a thread on places of interest for those renting a vehicle... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=65234&highlight=naked+boy
