Nearest water taxi stop ?

We are going to be staying at the Pelican Beach Resort for a few days post cruise...our first visit to FLL area..and are very keen to use the water taxi service....it sounds a lot of fun and very convenient too.

 

I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is a stop near to the Pelican beach, is it a walkable distance from the hotel or would we need a car/taxi to it.Would it still be a vaible way to travel.

If there is a stop quite near it does anyone know which stop it is (is there a number or a name for it)

You would need to take a taxi to the "Gallery One" stop, which is really the Doubletree Guest Suites hotel at Sunrise Blvd. & the Intracoastal. That's stop #3 on the Water Taxi's map. Or you could go to Shooters at Oakland Park Blvd. & the Intracoastal, stop #1.
