berpat Posted September 3, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2005 Just received my travel docs today, 2 weeks and 2 days before sailing and at Saturday lunch. Being our Golden Wedding anniversary I thought a present or two waiting in the cabin for my everloving would be in order. Silly boy!!! On reading the small print on the bottom of the order form what do I see? QUOTE: "orders received less than 2 weeks prior to departure will attract a 'late fee' of £7. Now I ask you?? In the scheme of things £7 is a drop in the ocean but what gives here? Is this another example of Carnivalisation ??? I will find out on Monday when I ring my travel agent. Keep you posted. whherron Posted September 4, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2005 Why don't you call the cruise line, explain the situation, and ask them to waive the late fee(s)? Bill
