Kayaking from Marseilles/Cassis

Hi,

I have searched quite a few places and have not been able to come up with reliable information. We dock in Marseilles and would like to take a guided kayak tour to the Calanques either from Marseilles or Cassis - preferably from Marseilles to Cassis if one like that exists.... I have found a few sites that look as if they offer the tours, but they are all in French and even when I translate the site, I'm not finding the info I'm looking for. I'd like to make sure that the guide speaks English as well. Anyone do something like this or come across information on a tour like this while searching? Thanks!

Hi all,

So I had no responses to this question, but did some additional research, and while I haven't found anyone who has done this, I have gained information on how to go about doing it. I have contacted a kayaking company that will provide a half day kayaking tour of the calanques. We would need to provide our own transportation to the kayaking beach which would cost about 40 Euro. The half day tour runs 35 Euro per person. Will post more details when I get them and will definitely post a review when I return in case anyone else wants to enjoy this type of excursion.

It ended up that we decided to do something different in that port - but I did book a kayaking excursion in Montenegro costing 20 Euro per person and they meet you at the port, so no additional transportation costs involved. Worked out better for us.
