I met them on the Ecstacy as a solo where they took me under their wing. DW and I also cruised with them on the Sensation. We ate with them each night and truely enjoyed spending time with them.

The ship is in port now. :D I'd be anxious to hear from others on this sailing about anything special being done.

Janice sent me these articles. I sure wish I was better with the computer. I'm sure there is a way to cut & paste ( as they say )

Florida today.com

travelweekly.com

The second one tells more about her & Bill & also everything Carnival has planned.

I can't wait to hear from her when they get off ship to see how it was.

Maybe I will post here.

As much as its a nice first for Carnival I really don't the appeal of 100 cruises on the same ship (and mostly the same cabin it seems) for a couple. I really think its a bit odd...hopefully they enjoyed it and did not do just for 'the badge'.

If I could got on 24 cruises a year I would be hopping around the world on different ships and lines. I have only been on the Legend twice through sheer coincidence.

Ah well...different strokes for different folks.

This has me wondering if Carnival routinely keeps track of milestones like this for everyone or is it that this couple is so well known the crew on that particular ship wanted to do something to celebrate?

Anyone know?

I'm sure it is all of the above.

No they are not really weird people, we have been cruising with them for a few years.

Larry & I were on the Legend 13 times last winter.

Carnival stated that it was a first for the company so if they don't keep track am sure that they would check & make sure before making such a big media fuss. A lot of Media.

And a big fuss it will be. Can't wait to hear about it in heir words.

They track. I've got a printout that shows all my cruises and dates taken.

We've done variations of the same cruise (3/4day) at least 25 times, about 20 of those on Fantasy class ships out of LA.

It's easy. No learning curve, easier to get into relaxation mood. Biggest decision is what to eat onshore.

I just came back to say they were on there way.

Looks like they got a new slide, I wonder what else they did in drydock ?

Char

Not sure about the slide, as it looked the same to me (although I'm probably wrong).

But one thing for sure . . . they didn't get rid of that butt-ugly rental generator on the Sports Deck.
