Big week end for sensation

Not sure about the slide, as it looked the same to me (although I'm probably wrong).

But one thing for sure . . . they didn't get rid of that butt-ugly rental generator on the Sports Deck.

.

I know & they all have them now.

I see her being retired in the next couple of years so am really surprised they even put the slide in.

From what we were told it would just be general maintenance & clean up.

From what we were told only two Fantasy class ships will be left in three years. The Paradise is one of them & can't remember the other one.

The news on channel 9 in tampa had all the news from the Sensation.

I missed most of it ( potty ) but Larry said they talked to Bill & then talked about the first time 6 carnival ships were in port.

That is why they were so late leaving I bet.

Ya your right Manage my cruises duu :D

Of course they keep track, how would they know that we became Diamond in Oct ? :)

I know they keep track of your cruises but I meant in the sense that "this particular person just hit 1000 nights on the same ship, plan something".

Not sure what you are trying to say. No where did it say 1000 night's.

In fact it is a 3/4 day cruise so wouldn't be near that.

They do have almost 600 days at sea with Carnival.

Yes Carnival planned everything. They interviewed a few people in Miami for the travel mag.

Jan called me when the person called her to ask if they minded having the media there.

Hope this helps clear it up for you.

Barbara you sail like we do. I can't seem to book a single cruise

If it's not B2B I end up adding one. Our longest was on the Sensation last Sept.

B2B2B2B & then ended up calling from the ship & booking two more & didn't have to change cabins.

That was a cruise with Jan & Bill.

If you keep it up on the Fascination you will be up there with them. :D

Yes I knew that just forgot. Do you fly into Jackvile or drive ?

Was thinking about that port for step-son instead of Canaveral. He comes in from southern Calif. I have never done the airport though.

We like that class of ship & have driven over there a couple of times.

We like Tampa port best as it is only a 1/2 hr drive from our house, but HE HAS to have a balcony & the Paradise don't have them & the suites are way over priced.

as per the article there were six Carnival ships in port today. I wonder if they just got backed up.

You would think they would plan ahead maybe they did & just didn't call to tell us :D

There were three Carnival ships in port, six altogether.

I drive...............

It's a loooooooong drive ,but a easy drive.............

I give myself two days before the Cruise to get to Jax...

Jax is a easy port.....

I stay at a Hotel on Airport RD that offers a Cruise package.......

Cheaper for me to leave my car parked at the hotel...
