Splendour Mediterranean Reviews

Anyone remember a good review of the Splendour for its Mediterranean itineraries?

Not interested in the details and pictures of dinners but more in the ports and suggestions for things to do there. I'm looking at the specific ports sections as well on CC.

Doing B2B in early October.

Mykonos... go over on the local ferry to Delos (google it)

Santorini... local bus station only a 3-4 block walk from top of tram. Bus to Oia (google it) imo is even more of an absolute must and will be one of the hilites of your trip

Hope this helps you. Have an awesome b2b!!! :D

We will be doing the Vision med cruise and I was looking for reviews. Someone suggested this review even though it was a different ship( Serenade) I am so glad, her port reviews are fabulous! I don't know which ports you are going to but maybe a few can be found here!

We are hoping to book the Splendour of the Seas Greek Islands for August. I just wondered if we stayed on board instead of going ashore, what facilities will be open, bars? restaurants? etc. Is it a quiet time if the hoards go ashore?

Also does anyone have any idea of the age group?

Why would you stay on board?!! But yes, the pool, bars, and Windjammer will be open as usual. It'll be quieter as most take the cruise to get OFF the ship on port days. Esp 7 day cruises.

I've only ever been on a Med cruise in October. There was a higher age average, but some families and 20-30's, too. I imagine the average age is lower in the summer?? We are booked on an August 2015 sailing. :D
