kasil Posted March 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Are the beds in balcony cabins kings or two twins that can be separated? Thanks.

ARCruisinNana Posted March 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2015 RCI calls them a Royal king size. It's bigger than a queen and a little smaller than a king. Twin size ends up a little narrower than a true twin.

ARCruisinNana Posted March 16, 2015 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2015 All beds in all cabins can be pushed together or separated. Except for an Owner's Suite.
TBone2K Posted March 16, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Except for an Owner's Suite. Hmm... Never noticed that. To the OP, *almost* all can be pushed together or separated.:) Basically, do a mock booking and look in the room description for the phrase "two twin beds that convert to a Royal King". kasil Posted March 16, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted March 16, 2015 Thanks for the help. I forgot to check before I booked my children in the adjoining cabin. They are old enough that they won't want to share a bed. How do I document on the reservation that the beds should be separate so that the room attendant doesn't have to make the remake the bed? You can call whoever booked your cruise and request the bed configuration you want. Note that some ships ignore this and set all the beds one way. If you get onboard and the beds are not the right way, just tell the stateroom attendant and they will fix it before you need to use the beds the first night.
