Indeed, on a recent cruise an experienced couple took the lead and offered to organise trips and visits for a group of us. We met up on early on, people came and went, but there was no pressure to continuously participate. They were marvellous and put a great deal of time into helping the rest of us.

Indeed, on a recent cruise an experienced couple took the lead and offered to organise trips and visits for a group of us.

 

That's not a holiday then, if someone is fussing all around the place.

It would drive me nuts.

I like to roam about and enjoying myself, not having Mrs Bucket types around me.

On previous cruises, some cruisers went around telling others the are "Contributors " to cruise Critic, as in, that they are Journalists and writing pieces for the forum.

 

They acted like they expected special status and even tell the waiters this !!

What idiots they were.

 

(I am not saying that the couple mentioned above acted like this)
