I cannot answer your question but can't understand the problem with Scottish notes. 50 years ago I worked in a sub post office, and the postmaster always asked anyone giving him a Scottish bank note to write their name and address on it!! Thought they might be more universal by now.

It absolutely does accept scottish money. They tried to give me my winnings in scottish money but I asked for english and they happily obliged. Also if you don't have cash on you they can charge it to your cruise card too so you don't have to faff about.
