Dooglas55 Posted March 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2015 Can anyone tell me if the casino on the Dream accepts Scottish banknotes at the tables, don't want to be running around getting English notes, when not needing to, Thanks, Dougie. gillhalfpint Posted March 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 18, 2015 I cannot answer your question but can't understand the problem with Scottish notes. 50 years ago I worked in a sub post office, and the postmaster always asked anyone giving him a Scottish bank note to write their name and address on it!! Thought they might be more universal by now.
Dooglas55 Posted March 25, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted March 25, 2015 To update, had an answer from Thomson Facebook team, telling me that the casino on Dream accepts Scottish currency, saves a bit of hassle, Dougie.
FOD1984 Posted March 29, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2015 (edited) It absolutely does accept scottish money. They tried to give me my winnings in scottish money but I asked for english and they happily obliged. Also if you don't have cash on you they can charge it to your cruise card too so you don't have to faff about. FOD1984 Posted March 31, 2015 #6 Share Posted March 31, 2015 Enjoy! The casino was our favourite part of the ship, and we got lucky a few times. Have a good one!
