Houston Hotels

Any suggestions for a hotel in Houston? Never been to the area and now the SUN is departing from the Houston Port.

 

Anything to do there pre-cruise??

We really enjoyed our stay at South Shore Harbour Resort in League City. They have a cruise special for $88 a night up to 4 in a room including full breakfast buffet for 2. You have to fax your cruise doument to verify. Contact Jordan Wilson at the hotel. Forgot their numbers but you can check their website.

glad to see someone who has actually stayed at this hotel.. We are considering it for November 2005. Their website really doesn't appear user friendly.. not many pix of rooms and grounds.

Would appreciate more imput on this resort.. How did you like the room? What floor!?

Did you like the grounds? the pool? the restaurant.... breakfast? How was the staff? and the surrounding area?

Would you go back?

I know I am asking way too many quesions.. surely do hope you have a moment to look them over and respond. Leaning on your wisdom as it were!

Is a very good first class hotel, one of the few in that area. It is on Clear Lake with a large marina as part of the complex, as Clear Lake opens into Galveston Bay.

Things to see in the area are NASA and the Kemah Boardwalk.
