Millenium--Shuttle dropoff and pickup in Rome and Florence

RDT

Recommended Posts

We are planning to do Rome and Florence "on our own," and utilize just the shuttle from the ship to the city centres. Does anyone know where the dropoff and pickup points are for the shuttle in both Rome and Florence?

Any opinion on the benefits of using Celebrity-sanctioned shuttles instead of the train or other arrangements?

Last September we used the Celebrity's transportation to and from Rome. They let you off on the road right near the Vatican. You meet in the parking lot (indoors) at the appointed time to return. Make sure you know your bus number and company. There may be more than one bus with the same number. Also make sure you look for the Celebrity name. We had a lot of time to walk around Rome. I suggest you make a plan of what you want to see and use a map to pre-plan. Most main attractions are within walking distance.

have fun...Rome is great but watch the traffic.
