cheapest way for group of six to get to St John??

We will be a group of six, what are the cost of going over to St John?? Trying to budget

Which ship and dock? What day are you in St Thomas (you can check how many ships are docked)? What time do you arrive and depart?

 

There are 2 different ferry options (depending on your schedule).

The most common method is to taxi to Red Hook ($10pp each way and ferry over for $7pp each way). 20 minute taxi ride and 15 minute ferry ride. Ferry runs every hour 8am to late from both islands

 

The lower cost option is to walk into Charlotte Amalie and take the $13 ferry (45 minute ride) that leaves Downtown at 10AM and returns from St John at 3:45PM. This return would only work if your ship is leaving at 6PM. The walk back to the ship is about 30 minutes.
