How early can you board the Zenith?

BOZO:

WE LOVED THE ZENITH. WE WERE WORRIED AS WE ALWAYS CRUISED WITH CARNIVAL AND THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WITH CELEBRITY AND WE DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. I WILL BE WRITING A REVIEW. I AM TRYING TO SHORTEN IT UP AS WE LOVED IT SO MUCH I COULD WRITE A BOOK.

I CANT FIND A WORD TO DESCRIBE THE FOOD AS IT WAS EVEN WAY PAST EXCELLENT. PRIME RIB, RACK OF LAMB, FILET MINON, LOBSTER, NY STRIP STEAK, AND OTHERS TOO MUCH TO MENTION. ALL THE MEATS MELTED IN YOUR MOUTH AND WERE SEASONED TO PERFECTION. THERE WERE THINGS ON THE SIDE DISHES I USUALLY HATE. I TASTED THEM, AND WAS BEGGING FOR MORE. THEY SURELY HAVE A WAY WITH KNOWING WHAT SEASONING TO USE AND EXACTLY HOW MUCH TO USE TO BRING OUT THE PERFECT FLAVOR.

YOU WILL LOVE THE SHIP. WE WERE WORRIED SHE WAS SMALLER THEN WHAT WE WERE USE TO, I LOVED IT. WE ARE NOT OVER THE HILL YET, BUT ARE SLOWING DOWN AND WE APPRECIATED THE ABILITY TO SAVE OUR ENERGY FOR BERMUDA RATHER THEN WALKING FROM ONE END OF THE SHIP TO THE OTHER FOR SHOWS AND SUCH.

AS FOR BERMUDA. WE HAVE BEEN TO COZUMEL, GRAND BAHAMAS, NASSAU, MEXICO AND OTHER PLACES EVEN IN THE STATES. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME TO BERMUDA AND I HAD TO LISTEN TO MY HUSBAND WHO HAD BEEN THERE BEFORE, SAYING HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS, AND THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE THE BEAUTY OF BERMUDA. I THOUGHT, HOW MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL CAN IT BE, AS I HAVE SEEN SO MUCH BEAUTY ON THE ISLANDS WE HAVE BEEN TO, HOW CAN YOU PASS THAT. BOSCO, YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL, THE COLORS, ESPECIALLY OF THE WATER AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF THE ISLANDS AND HOMES. WHEN WE WERE LEAVING ST. GEORGE FOR HOME, THE BEAUTY OF THE WATERS AND THE SCENERY OVERTOOK ME TO THE POINT TEARS WELDED UP. NOT BECAUSE I WAS SAD WE WERE LEAVING, BUT BECAUSE THE BEAUTY OF IT WAS JUST SO OVERWELMING. I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE PICTURES OF BERMUDA THAT I SAW IN MAGAZINES WERE ENHANCED WITH COLORS TO MAKE THEM LOOK PERFECT. BUT THAT IS NOT SO. ANYONE CAN TAKE A PERFECT PICTURE IN BERMUDA. JUST POINT AND CLICK AND ENJOY. HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME. WOULD GO BACK IIN A MINUTE ON THE ZENITH. SHE WAS PERFECT AS WELL.

WE JUST CAME OFF THE ZENTIH SATURDAY. WE WENT WITH A GROUP BY BUS. WE GOT THERE EARLY, AROUND 11 OR SO. BUT THEY ALLOWED US TO STAY ON THE BUS UNTIL NOON. IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO GET THERE EARLY AS YOU RUN INTO THE PEOPLE COMING OFF THE SHIP TRYING TO CATCH THEIR TRANSPORTATION. I GUESS IT WAS AROUND 12:15 OR SO THEY STARTED THE BOARDING PROCESS WHICH WENT VERY EASY. I CANT EXPLAIN ABOUT THE LUGGAGE PROCESS THOUGH AS OUR LUGGAGE WAS TAKEN FROM THE BUS RIGHT TO OUR ROOMS SO WE DIDNT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT PROCESS.

WE TOOK THE RARITAN VALLEY BUS COMPANY. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS. IT WENT SO SMOOTH.

THE ENTERTAINIMENT WAS THE ONLY THING THAT CARNIVAL HAD CELEBRITY BEAT ON.

WE HAD ONE MUSIC AND DANCING SHOW, BUT THE OTHER SHOWS THAT FOLLOWED WERE COMEDIAN SHOWS. WHILE DOCKED IN BERMUDA, CELEBRITY IS NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE SHOWS OR OPEN CASINO, SO THAT MAY HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT. WE DID NOT MISS THE SHOWS THOUGH, AS BEING DOCKED IN ONE PLACE FOR SO LONG, WE WENT OFF THE SHIP ALOT TO SEE BERMUDA. WE LIKED THAT ALOT MORE ALSO, BEING IN ONE PLACE FOR MORE THAN JUST A FEW HOURS. WE COULD COME AND GO AS WE PLEASED. BEING DOCKED AT THE PIER WAS ALSO MUCH BETTER THEN HAVING TO TAKE A TRANSPORT BACK AND FORTH.

WE LOVED IT.

Optifire:

Did you rent the bus yourself, through Raritan Valley, or did Celebrity supply it.

I am from Central Jersey also, and would be interested.

Sounds like you had a great trip. Can't wait until September for our cruise.

Thanks in advance for your info.

Arlene & Jim:

We rented the bus ourselves for our group. Our group consisted of about 50 people. When we realized that parking was $24.00 a day and read the reviews about how many people really were unhappy about the NY Port, we thought it would be the best way to go. It really was too. We were very happy that we rented the bus as it made it so much smoother for everyone and it turned out to be cheaper in the long run. Have a great cruise in September. Smooth sails to you.

Hi!

We took a van from Morris County to the pier with four people for $85 each way. We arrived at the pier at 11:00 and got on line to board. They allowed us to check in at 11:30-not bad. We sped right through and were on board in 15 minutes. We could not go to our cabins until 1:00 but the lunch buffet and bars were open, so we just wandered, ate, drank and go warmed up!

Enjoy!
