FLL Hotel take 2

I am starting over. I am looking for a hotel for may 2006. I currently have reservations at Amerisuites.. but still looking. I found the hilton garden inn ft. lauderdale/hollywood airport at 149 includes airport and cruise shuttle.

i also looked at the embassy suites which is at 133 a night with cruise transport.

The idea of having the shuttles makes me happy.. the idea of this hotel also makes me happy after reading some of the things i did about amerisuites.

I guess my concern is .. is the hilton garden near any restuarants? or is embassy suites?

Thanks for help.

Hilton Garden Inn does not have any restaurants within walking distance whereas Embassy Suites has a plethora of restaurants to choose from within walking distance.

In the Hilton family, the Embassy Suites is certainly a better brand then the Garden Inns. Bigger rooms, beautiful atriums, managers cocktail party.....;)

Its a no brainer...go with Embassy Suites if you can.

I agree... Definitely Embassy Suites over the Garden Inn... If you choose a SE 17th Street hotel though don't get all hung up on shuttles as the SE 17th Street hotels are less than 10 minutes from FLL and just outside the entrance to Port Everglades.

Embassy Suites is in an excellent location with many many shops, restaurants, grocery/drug/liquor stores all located within easy walking distance. Embassy Suites is in the middle of everything you could possibly want, where there's nothing around the Garden Inn.
