Internet acess in San Pedro terminal building?

Recommended Posts

We are sailing on a Saturday and would like to download a conference being broadcast live that day via the internet to watch on Sunday. Is there internet access in the terminal in San Pedro? One session will be available to download about noon and another about 4:00, so going to a Starbucks or other local hot spot would be cutting things too close for the 2nd session. I'm also trying to avoid having to buy 50 or more minutes on board since the download should only take a few minutes.

There wasn't WIFI in 2009. Even if they have upgraded the terminal with WIFI I'm going to venture to say that you will still have difficulty downloading large files. Most WIFI systems in buildings with hundreds of people are notoriously slow as many people are all trying to get online at the same time. Best example would be trying to use airport WIFI....almost not worth it.
