Bayport to Galveston

I can only speak from my experience seeing it from shore. The ones that leave from Galveston take about a half hour to get out past the island and out of the shipping lanes. Then they drop off the pilot, who guides the ships in the channel, and head out.

I would bet from Bayport the process would be an hour to 1.5 hours. You will get to see more oil tankers than you have probably ever seen and beyond that are the oil platforms.
