4 day NCL Sky - family friendly?

I've booked a 4 day Thanksgiving cruise on the Sky. How family friendly is this cruise? My kids will be 7 & 8. Would the evening shows be appropriate for them or not?

The shorter cruises tend to be a little more " booze cruise" . But its Thanksgiving , plus its a 4 day not a 3 , you should be okay , more kids.... The shows will most likely be geared to adults on a 4 , particularly the latter show..

Dont worry you'll be fine , you just may have to deal with a few louder than usual folks.. ;)

We were on the Sky a year ago..... It was not a booze cruise at all. There was a lot more partying happening on the Getaway.

 

The Sky seemed to have comedians most nights. Your children can enjoy some of the silly game show style shows. There will also be plenty of live music to listen to.

We didn't find it to be a booze cruise at all, and we went for Spring Break. We found the ship to be extremely family-friendly. I posted a review in the forums and added some pics, we sailed a week ago.

As most folks have posted, the 4-night should feel just like other NCL cruises. The timeline is compressed, so there's less focus on entertainment and more on fun activities. I posted a review just over two years ago. I think most of the information applies if you're interested. Have fun on your cruise.
