Hi, I have a question about the social media package for $18. If you sign up for this, does this cover all charges? I was concerned about charges from cellular at sea, or the service carrier (in my case AT&T). $18 is not a bad price to pay for me to stay in touch with family at home...if there are no other charges involved.

It uses the ships wifi, not the cellular at sea signal. No other charges involved.

Thank you for answering. One other question though...what difference what it make if you used social media or other internet sites? If you were using the ships wifi? Just wondering how the program works. Even if it does just include social media (FB), think that I will sign up for it. It's worth it to be able to keep in touch with our son at home and make sure everything is okay.

The social media package blocks access to all websites except those that are included in the package.

seems silly :confused: but okay, that's still fine with me. I'm sure they just want folks to purchase their internet packages. As I said before, just looking for a way to stay in touch to be sure all is okay at home.

This is really great information. I wonder if with the social media package if you are able to use Facebook messenger to make calls or video chat? Does anyone know? I'm traveling with my step son and want him to be able to call his mom somehow as we don't have international calling
