Wine on Royal Caribbean ships, particularly Serenade

Hi all,

 

we were thinking of brining our own wine to the ship and brining it to the table for dinner as well. Has anybody done it? Do they charge a corckage fee? Does it matter if the wine is on RCCL wine list or not?

They used to, but I believe they recently changed their policy and you cannot bring your own. This is a hot topic on this board, so I'm sure you'll get some replies!

We are on board the Jewel of the Sea now! We had no problem bringing wine aboard and if it is not on their list of wines you do not have to pay a corkage fee. Happy Sailing, Joy

The official policy is that there is a $12 corkage fee for bringing wine into the dining room. It appears to be up to your waiter's discretion whether to charge it. I don't think it matter whether it's on their wine list or not.
