sunshine cabin 8188

We just got off the Sunshine & this was our cabin. We love the location of it. Lido deck was 1 deck up so we would take the stairs every time instead of using the elevator. Balcony was awesome for me since it was my first.:) Now what is funny is that my friend & I are looking at the same cruise out of Charleston next year with our husbands and she wanted this cabin! LOL! I will have to tell her that it is taken and to pick another one. So excited about the 10 days cruise next year since it will be all new ports for me and only a 3 hours drive to port. Also Sunshine is my favorite ship so far of the 3 ships I've been on.

And also so funny about the room, actually when we booked a few days ago, deck 8 only had a few cabins left in that area! I think this cruise is going to fill fast! The former Destiny, now Sunshine is a great ship. The location of Charlestown and the cruise ports and 10 day leghth is going to attract many early bookings!

We have never cruised in late May and June before, it will be very warm!

We are also only 3 hours away in NC.

did you like the port side( left ) more than the right side? I think most of the time cabin on port side is on ocean side not the pier, is that correct?

It depends on how the ship docked. In Cozumel, we were pulled in beside the Triumph so we were looking at the ship. Belize was a tender port. Roatan, the ship was back into the dock so we were looking at Magahony Bay Beach & entrance to port. Costa Maya, the ship was also back into the dock so had a view of the port.
