Lovinlife45 Posted April 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2015 We are sailing on the Island for an Alaska cruisetour. I need to know if there are sufficient electrical outlets to support our "equipment" - my husband uses a scooter and we have other equipment that needs to be plugged in as well - i.e. - I am deaf and have a cochlear implant which requires recharging, last cruise we had a O2 concentrator - just want to be prepared. I plan on taking a power strip but is there a place to plug it in. Thanks

Thanks There are American style plugs in the cabins, it's a good idea to bring a 6 plug power bar, and a 12' manufactured extension cord. ;) Cato :) Completed Cruises ! srlafleur Posted April 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2015 I haven't recently been on a Princess cruise so I can't confirm the availability in their ships, but on my last couple of cruises (Carnival and Royal Caribbean) I've used the "spare" outlet behind the TV. It's out of the way and not as easily accessible, but was handy.
Treven Posted April 9, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2015 (edited) While I don't have all that equipment, I always bring along a power strip. You will probably find the extension cord to come in handy. I recently was prescribed a CPAP machine, so I will most likely, take along an extension cord on my next cruise.
