Rare l2f Posted April 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Hello, Is the policy the same for bringing a 12pk or 24 pk of water onboard from any port? Our first stop will be Key West, have friends there, and would be easier than lugging onboard with luggage at embarkation. Thanks.
cmptrwiz Posted April 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2015 I'm sure you can. We just fill our empty bottle in the cabin sink. Seems a little easier.
sillychicky Posted April 12, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2015 You can bring 12 per person so if you have 2 people a 24 pack is fine. I've found it much easier to purchase a 24 pack for my room (comes to about a dollar a bottle which is much more than you'd pay if you bring it on BUT you don't have to carry it and can bring on mixers and sodas and save on money there). I bring red bull (mixer for my vodka), cranberry juice, ginger ale and coca colas in my carry on (rolling Carnival duffel I don't have to carry) plus my bottle of champagne. This way I save on mixers and sodas and still have my bottled water on board. The ship water tastes funny to me but I'm picky. I hope that helps! SadieN Posted April 13, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 13, 2015 We've never had a problem bring water or soda onboard at a port of call.
Flytko Posted April 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Never had an issue, actually on our first cruise, we bought a 6 pack of coke in Nassau and brought it back aboard :)
OCruisers Posted April 13, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 13, 2015 You can if you want to ... but keep in mind the tap water on the ship is perfectly safe to drink. :) LuLu
spearnreel Posted April 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 13, 2015 What about bringing on the allotted bottle of wine per person during embark. Is this also allowed at each port of call?
SadieN Posted April 13, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 13, 2015 What about bringing on the allotted bottle of wine per person during embark. Is this also allowed at each port of call? You can bring on wine and liquor from port. Carnival will hold it for you until the end of the cruise.

Rare l2f Posted April 13, 2015 Author #11 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Thanks everyone. We do drink the water on board. The bottled water would be for taking into ports, beach.
