SKdrummer Posted April 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2015 Looking for some information. We are a group of 12 going to Orient Beach. Our ship is in port from 1pm to 8pm. We are looking for a beach club with food, restrooms, cold beer and frozen drinks. We looked into Orange Fever (as it was highly recommended on here)...But they emailed me and said they close at 5pm everyday. We are looking to be in that general area. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!!
jcg4550 Posted April 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2015 (edited) Check out Kon Tiki. It is a nice beach club with an upscale menu. Edited April 15, 2015 by jcg4550

Cruzinbabe06 Posted April 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 18, 2015 Also check out Kakao beach club. Nice also. Loved the shrimp platter. Beach waiter very attentive. We went in December. Seaweed was still in the water at Orient beach. should be back to normal by now.
gtaylor Posted April 19, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 19, 2015 1 to 8 is a tough timeframe for someone that would like to visit Orient. During all of our stays on the island we note that most of the beach bar/restaurants begin to close down around 4 -4:30. Depending on the day of the week there may be some evening music/dance parties going on. I'm certainly aware of Kon Tiki and Kakao, but don't know how late they stay open. I do know that Palm Beach has some evening parties on the beach. gary

rjrpar Posted April 20, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 20, 2015 Another vote for Kakao - better food than Kon Tiki
sbgoddess Posted April 21, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 21, 2015 Papagayo at the far end of the beach will be open late. It offers drinks and then moves into dinner. Because it is part of a hotel (Club Orient) it has a stream of guests who don't go "back home" but stay there for happy hour and dinner.
