Check your rates! Another price drop!

I thought next years rates were running kind of high.. maybe that's why they had to start price dropping already:D

I agree! The prices of the 2 I booked are more than what I normally would have paid but I was hoping they would drop. Just never expected it this soon.

Was going to wait because the deposits were so high since longer cruises, $800 each cruise. But then they ran a 1/2 deposit sale so I jumped on it and guess what, ended up having to pay full deposits on both in less than a month because I wanted the price drops.

Worth paying the $1600 full deposits though to get the $300 in price drops this week.:D

Just received another price drop for our January cruise! Dropped another $80! That is $140 plus $50 obc this week!!!

ES rate

I was shocked since it just dropped a couple of days ago and it is so far out.

How often should I be checking? I just booked 10 days ago and after seeing a thread here I check and sure enough the price had gone done a tiny bit! I can be obsessive about things like saving money, lol, so I don't want to drive myself crazy for the next 409 days! =)

I'm also planning a Disney World trip for Feb 2016 and that's already got my head swirling and they haven't even released rates yet.

lol ha I am the same way. First thing I do soon as I am actually awake and the last thing I do before bed plus several times in the day at work. :p

:( Kinda bummed though our cruise so far has stayed the same price just with the promo going on now we got a $30 obc..which I am not complaining about but I have been checking all the categories deck by deck and doesn't look like many people have booked yet for ours so I was hoping it would be a bit lower by now lol. oh well fingers still crossed.

Nothing here. Our cruise has actually gone up as of this morning. Plus both cabin categories are sold out. Oh well. It was a good run. Caught several drops and saved pretty good money from them combined with using Verizon gift cards.

I'll still check though, in case someone cancels or upgrades, etc.

I received my first price drop on my June 2016, Pride cruise! It dropped a total of $200.00 so far (4 people 2 rooms) and we each got $50.00 OBC. I booked the early saver a couple months ago, so hopefully the drops keep coming!:D

I check Every day. At least once. I have a whole system where in the morning I check the fare viewer and then for FTTF and then the roll call on here. My category is about sold out, so I won't be seeing many more price drops but I was happy to get what I got.

But if you haven't joined a roll call for your sailing that's a really good way to get updates on price drops too. My group has been really good about telling each other to go check your prices when they notice theirs has gone down!

Our prices for our January 2016 B2B remained the same, but I did put in for the $50 OBC on each of them. Of course, I got the rejection letter 5 minutes after I applied which means nobody even read it. They just automatically shoot out the rejection letter hoping people will believe it and just go away!!!

I called & got it. Of course, I'll lose it if any other price drops come through (I hope, I hope) unless they also include OBC.

I also check FareViewer twice a day. However, it pays to do a mock booking on CCL if you qualify for Military pricing as that doesn't show up on FareViewer.

Also, for one of our January 2015 cruises, I found the Casino Rate which gave us an addition $370 OBC because of such a fantastic price. If I hadn't done my weekly mock booking on CCL, I would have missed out on that.

If I book a cruise at the Early Saver rate and the categories above and below me get OBO with later specials can I call and get the credit? I ask because my category is sold out so I can't see if it's being offered at a discounted rate or w/ OBO.
