Includes spa passes for all adults in the room. Spa passes are good for the duration of your cruise. It allows access to the thermal suite with hot tubs and sauna and steam room and thermal pool. It does not include any treatments like facials and massages. We loved the spa on Epic especially the outside deck where I napped every day.

The thalisotherapy pool has 3 large spouts (two like a fire hose and one that is wide and flat) that beat down on your neck, back and shoulders - better than ANY massage I've ever gotten on any ship. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!

BTW, if you do a couples massage, there is one with time in a hot tub on the balcony of the treatment room before the massage. Also, really good!

But the spa thermal suite and thalisotherapy pool are the BEST! It took me 3 days to get my husband to try it and once he did, he wanted to go all the time! LOL! It's THAT good!

What's included in the price of this room? Access to the spa? What does that mean and does it include any massage?

All passengers booked in the room get access to the spa area. That's it. The room is the same as any other balcony room and you get no other perks like a massage or treatment. Many people are fooled into paying lots of extra money for these rooms when the only extra benefit they receive is a spa pass.

The Spa balcony room on the Epic has a different decor to the room than the ordinary balcony rooms:

Regular balcony cabin:

If I have understood it correctly, the Spa balcony has a regular shower in the bathroom, the Spa mini-suite has a more "exclusive" shower and a larger bathroom than the regular Spa balcony stateroom. I have only had a Spa suite myself on the Epic - and that of course cost more. The spa facilities that the spa pass will give you access to on the Epic, are very nice. All spa cabins are situated on deck 14, close to the spa facilities.
