Thanks for those photos, they are great.

I too was worried about the cable car, I am terrified of cable cars, DH has many tales of me sitting (or standing in a huge beast in Switzerland ) with my eyes so tightly shut that my face screws up into a shrunken head pose :o so I was glad to see the pics of the cable car, I think I can handle that one.

I arranged a tour for 14 people in September 2013 via http://www.privatetoursantorini.com and they organised for us to be taken by boat from Fira port to Athinios port (thats the port that the cruise ship tour passengers use) and we returned the same way after watching the sunset in Oia. There charged us 100Euro for the trip (7euro/pp), that way we avoided any queuing in the hot sun.

We also did this itinerary in June 2014. It was amazing. Would do exact same cruise again. The Reflection is great!
