Coco Loco

I hear so much about Coco Loco drinks? What are they? What is in them?

Is this only a coco cay thing, can you get them on the ship?

I drink that is available at CocoCay. Here is some recipes that are pretty close.

COCO LOCO RECIPE

 

1 oz Light Rum

1 oz Dark Rum

1/2 oz Vodka

1/2 oz Creme de Banana

1/2 oz Pineapple Juice

1/2 oz Coconut Creme

1/2 oz Sugar Syrup

 

Shake well w/ice & strain into a chilled highball glass.

Garnish w/a pineapple wedge.

Serve & enjoy!!

 

Recipe #2, favorite on CC, add more rum

 

3/4oz dark rum

3/4oz coconut rum

1/2oz Cream of coconut

1/2oz Papaya Juice

1/2oz Orange Juice

1/2oz Pineapple Juice

1/4 oz Grenadine

 

Blend with crushed ice until smooth...........

Garnish with pineapple and cherry

 

 

 

Recipe #3

 

½ oz Sauza Tequilla

 

½ oz Gin

 

½ oz Bacardi Light Rum

 

1 ½ oz pineapple juice

 

1 oz coconut cream

 

Mix together, pour over ice and garnish with pineapple slice

While on the Majesty, DH and I went to CocoCay and had the yummy Coco Locos, and yes while on the ship we did get another Coco Loco from the pool bar. They are yummy!!

I vote for #2. I remember them saying the drinks had papaya! Still have four of the drink bottles around here from 3 years ago!
