Does anyone know if their is a formal night on the pride? If so is it suit and tie or just jacket? Also for a 10year old would smart casual be ok?

You can expect 2 "cruise elegant" nights on a 7 night Carnival cruise. A jacket is fine for men. Smart casual would be fine for a 10 year old. You might find this helpful:

Elegant nights are Monday and Friday.. Long pants and a collared shirt is all that is required.. no need for jacket or tie, unless you want to ...

Monday and Friday have been the formal nights, Slacks and nice shirt with a collar is all you need. Smart casual is fine for child. Enjoy, I hope the magician goes to your table. Maybe you can ask your wait staff to get him to stop at your table.

Just off the Pride today. As stated elegant nights are Monday and Friday. Less and less men wearing coats and ties. Anything from Long pants - slacks or dockers and polo shirts or button down collared shirt is ok or also the suit and tie or a combination of all the above.
