50% Off Deposits Again

GREAT, Thanks for the heads up!!!

Does anyone know if they have ever offered the reduced deposit sale AND the 'full balance not due until 30 days prior to sailing' sale at the same time before?

 

They did offer it awhile ago but it was for a very short window. I booked it for our upcoming cruise on the Elation. The "final payment due 30 days out" really worked well for our schedule. However, Carnival ran another promotion which (and thanks to the help from this board) I took advantage of and there were no surprises in changing promotions (had to pay the cruise off earlier then the 30 day deal but saved almost 250 bucks on the fare, got a $50.00 OBC as well as an upgrade to a better cabin - Inside to OV! (Again, thank you Cruise Critic!). So while we did pay earlier then originally planned, the savings we realized was worth it to us.

 

Just know that if you change promotions you could gain or lose any OBC you might have had, additional deposit amounts could become due or you may have to pay for the entire cruise right then and there.

I had 2 price drops in 3 weeks that is why I had to pay...thinking they plan it LOL:rolleyes::eek::D

I was booking a cruise today anyway, only having to pay 1/2 the deposit and still getting the ES rate, BONUS!! Just booked Dream in Sept. I expected to drop over $1000 today for the 3 deposits plus insurance, they only wanted $642. OK!!!:D
