casino free cruise question

My husband was given this offer on the last night of our cruise. However, it must be used in the next 3 months and with work and our daughter getting married we just couldn't schedule it. What are the chances we will get another offer or is this the only chance we will have.

For the "free cruise", that will be the only one (until the next trip anyway) They don't typically send additional bounce back freebie offers out. However, if he got one, he will now most likely get Casino offers for discounted casino fares and Premier Casino cruises. So watch in his "offers" on the carnival website. These are not free but they are typically better rates than you could get under most sales. And usually have casino cash or some other incentive tied to them.

It's a shame you could not take advantage of the BB offer. I got 2 and left my teacher wife at home and took my daughters.. It sucked having to leave her but she didn't want the freebie to go to waste. I didn't argue.

Call them. I had the same situation they let me me go a month beyond the dates listed, I'm leaving Sunday. I think it depends on who you get when you call, and travel schedules. If you try to move to a popular high season date probably not.

You could give it to someone and book it in your husbands name and the other person then have your husband be a no show.

Then the other person gets to go on the real cheap, like me!

The person on the offer has to be there, good idea tho.

What is really cool is how cheap you can upgrade when you are on a casino bounce back cruise.

For a five night cruise in late August to upgrade to an OV is $50.00 each. To upgrade to a balcony is $200.00 each and to a Grand Suite is $350.00 each.

We wound up in a grand suite for a total cruise cost of $500.00 each including port taxes and insurance.

Plus my experience is the casino knows you are on a BB offer so you always get some nice comps. We took three free cruises last year and one of always got the drink card right away and we always got a free steakhouse dinner with free wine.

If there is any way to use that offer I wouldn't let it get away. Call or email the players club and see what they can do for you. It is worth a try.

On that same note....if available, the captains suite is considered a grand suite and you can book that one for the same price as a suite. And before anyone calls BS, I have done it. Captains Suite, room 9200 on the Liberty.

Yes, it is possible to get another offer if you turned down the first. The only way we knew about the offer was our PVP called us last fall. Had a new grand baby on the way and just couldn't make it. I told him (PVP) to please call us if another offer came up. To my surprise he called in January and we are cruising May 11! Good luck!
