cma- No. We couldn't see the Grand Suite. The Godmother was occupying it. They were actually delivering breakfast to her!! They were also taking plates and plates of Chocolate covered Strawberries into the room!!!

mary07054- They didn't have not one BB open. I was hoping to see one.

Hey Seayalater....

From Minnesota, and going on the same cruise as you! Me, hubby, and two sons ages 15-20.

Can't wait! Where in the Midwest are you from? The photos sure are great to review, and I can't wait to hear what the first cruisers have to say about it!

Truly enjoyed them! Especially because you took inside, outside, etc. I imagine the B's are the same as the A's?

cruzinpooh, you mentioned e730 and e731 being great staterooms. They are available for my cruise next year. I already have aft BB d735 booked. I was wondering if I have a great cabin with a super big balcony and a great price, would it be worth the extra $500 to change to e731?? I appreciate anyone letting me know your opinions. Thanks

I would go for E731. I have E730 reserved on CP for the 9/4 cruise.

The balcony is much larger than any of the other mini-suites. Plus you have the extra space inside. More...the emerald deck balconies are completely private. You can spend time on your balcony rain or shine!

Go for E731...but you better move quick. E730 & E731 go pretty quickly... This Grand Class secrete is getting out...

BlueDreamer- You have a nice cabin as well. You are completely aft. E730 & E731 are considered Mini-Suites and are a bit larger. The Mini-suites also have a tub instead of the shower. Not sure if it makes a difference to you. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to view any of the Aft cabins with the exception of the Suite (which you can't really compare). I was really looking forward to taking pictures of those. Unfortunately, they were not open.

What I really liked about E731 and E730 is that not only can you see the entire side of the Ship but because you are the last cabin on the side, you can also see the wake. Whether it's worth the extra $500.00? Assuming that it's $500.00 for two, I personally think so! But that's just my opinion. You may want to keep your eye on it and see if the rate goes down. However, your also running the risk that someone takes the cabin from you!

Good Luck and enjoy!

We are in a BC cabin on the Riveria deck. Does this category of cabins have a nice balcony?

Thanks,

just wondering..if you're swimming in the pool do you even need to reserve a deck chair? Maybe if you're going to use it after but otherwise couldn't you put your stuff somewhere else? I mean I don't know for sure, I've never been on a cruise before (soon though very soon!)...it just seems that if you're in the pool you don't really need the chair..
