marcyjane Posted May 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Have any of you member's stayed here? If so how did you like it and what is in walking distance for a inexpensive breakfast and dinner. I know the hotel has a restaurant but I know they can be pricey. One more question if you took a taxi to the cruise port if you remember what it would be for 4 people. Thanks so much in advance for any information you might can give me.:):)
searoses Posted May 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2015 I stayed here 1 night pre-cruise....gorgeous pool, couple of local places to eat down the street as well as a walgreens...safe area....biggest drawback to me was taking forever to check in....many cruisers....our room wasn't ready on time....we opted for the coral princess and 2 nights ahead for next winter..... marcyjane Posted May 8, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted May 8, 2015 Thank you so much!!! Glad to know there are places to eat near by. I just noticed on the web site of the hotel check out is 12 noon by ship doesn't leave until 8:30 pm that night. So will see what we can do between 12 and 4 pm. maybe the hotel will hold luggage while we sit out by the pool and enjoy more of the ocean views. We have been to San Juan before so doubt we will do a tour or something else but just relax and enjoy before boarding the ship.:)
Caribbeancruzin Posted May 20, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2015 We have stayed here numerous times, its a short ride to the pier and I wish I could remember about the taxi for you! and they will hold your luggage at the desk for you until you're ready to leave. You should have use of the pool and beach until you're ready to go board your ship!
