Group travel and fly aweigh?

Is there anyone out there who has traveled via fly aweigh program as part of a group reservation through CCL?

 

We are traveling in January from LAX to SJU and are thinking about using fly aweigh. We know some have had issues.... but for us, the Carnival guarantee through the program seems to be a better fit, since most layovers are in locations with potential related issues, i.e. NYC, CLE, NJ, etc.

 

Anyhow, we've been told that because we are booked on a CCL group reservation, we will all travel together....... ???
