HCTiger9704 Posted May 10, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2015 By what I understand, Royal Caribbean has a new thing (new for them) called studio cabins for those who are solo travelers (or for those who hate sharing a room) on the Quantum Of The Seas? I am wondering if the Royal Caribbean is planning on having studio cabins on any new ships that they are building or are they only going to have it on this one boat? I been on three cruises (Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Epic and Norwegian Getaway with the last two having studio cabins). I love NCL buy I will be willing to give other cruise lines a try if they have studio cabins. I love NCL but that does not mean I can't love more than one cruise line. Clarea Posted May 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2015 There are studio type staterooms on some of the Radiance class ships too.

On Radiance class, look for category SI, Studio Interior.

Hoopster95 Posted May 10, 2015 #7 Share Posted May 10, 2015 Couple of things: I rarely see SI cabins on Serenade, Brilliance or Radiance either available or less expensive than regular cabin for a solo. When they are less expensive, they are so by maybe only 10-20% from a regular cabin, with only 1 Crown&Anchor point vs. 2 points in a regular cabin, so I would never bother with an SI on these ships imho. Also the new Harmony will also have a few solo cabins called "SO" (ocean view) on deck 4 I believe
