jlfawley Posted May 15, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Looking at two cruises. Cant decide. Breeze... six days Falmouth, Jamaica Grand Cayman Cozumel Conquest... five days Grand Turk Half moon cay Nassau I have sailed on conquest, March of this year. It was a fun cruise and no issues with the ship. I have never sailed on the breeze, and ship looks awesome! Dilemma is.... I have been to all the western ports many times, which is the itinerary on the breeze. I have NOT cruised to any of the ports on the conquest itinerary So....is the breeze that much better? Six days is better than five, but have been wanting to cruise to Half Moon Cay. But.... also really want to try the breeze. What would you do? Thanks for any input and advice. Namelocg Posted May 15, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 15, 2015 I've done both ships in the past 8 months and as far as the ships it's Breeze all the way. There is so much to do that 6 days isn't enough. As far as ports it's a tough call. I love 7 mile beach in Grand Cayman and Paradise Beach in Cozumel. There are also some good all inclusive beaches in Jamaica. Grand Turk and Half Moon are great if there is only one ship in port. The only reason I get off in Nassau is to go to the casino at Atlantis. So I guess I'm saying Breeze would be my choice. jlfawley Posted May 15, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Thanks, I am leaning towards breeze, just so I can experience the ship before it leaves Miami, since we live an hour from the port. But.... have been wanting to visit both half moon cay and Grand Turk.
k2excursion Posted May 15, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 15, 2015 A common dilemma: ship vs itinerary. It's always a tough call. I did really enjoy Grand Turk (haven't been to HMC), but there are also good beaches on Breeze's itinerary. I feel like the extra day may be the tiebreaker, giving it to the Breeze. That would probably be what I would choose.
Vitamin_Sea Posted May 15, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 15, 2015 I would do the Breeze if its not much more then the conquest. What is the difference in price?

Go with the breeze before it leaves. You can go to HMC and GRAND Turk later.:)
jlfawley Posted May 15, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted May 15, 2015 The price is almost the same. Less than $100. Its actually a free cruise, casino offer. Inside cabin for 50 per person pkus port fees and taxes. So price is really not a factor.
Gopherpharm Posted May 15, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Breeze would win for me, especially if price is no issue. You can pick up those other ports on another trip but enjoy the ship and extra day on the Breeze itinerary!
kelkel2 Posted May 15, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 15, 2015 Breeze hands down! Extra day and better ship!
