Bermuda Webcam Maybe Offers Secret Hints at Future?

Watching the Bermuda webcam this morning, I notice that the Dawn has the Statue of Liberty painted on her hull. But the NCL website shows the Dawn with a big fish on the hull. Is Lady Liberty new on the Dawn? Could this be a hint that the Dawn will soon be home ported in New York rather than Boston? Will the Dawn replace the Gem in New York?

 

Also was fascinated seeing the Dawn and the Breakaway next to each other at the Bermuda harbor. The Dawn looked so small at dock, really from another era, whereas the Breakaway sailed past appearing sensational and large and modern, definitely the future of cruising.

The Dawn has always had the Statue of Liberty on her hull. She originally sailed out of NY and only moved to Boston a few years back.

The Dawn has Statue of Liberty on one side and a dolphin on the other. she was originally home ported in NYC.

ditto the other two posters. There is different hull art depending on the side of the ship you're looking at. :) One side dolphins and the other side is the Statue of Liberty. :)

From the start...The fish is on the starboard side... the Statue is on the port side.

 

Earlier in her life, the Dawn WAS based in NYC.

Thanks long-time Norwegian sailors and posters for your prompt replies. I'm new to the cruising world and didn't know the history. Found watching the webcam this morning a rare opportunity. Glad passengers on Dawn are safe and hope they'll be sailing home soon (not that being in Bermuda is so bad).
