port ramp onto Carnival Conquest

We will be boarding the Conquest in Port Everglades. Is the ramp at the port very steep when getting on the ship?

Port Everglades reminds me a lot of the old Miami terminal. We took the Freedom from there but I would expect the Conquest to load much the same way. I didn't notice the incline, not like Baltimore, but it was an uphill walk.

It is steeper than any that we have used.

We sailed Conquest out of Port Everglades in February.

 

It's funny that you ask about the ramp. I remember it being one of the steepest ramps we've used for embarkation.

Very steep. Just went on the conquest in April. But my 88 year old grandma who uses a walker was able to do it. I would suggest getting wheel chair assistance both on and off if you have concerns.

My wife and I just got off the Conquest on Saturday and both commented during embarkation that the ramp was steeper than any we could remember.
