RadioRob Posted May 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2015 Ultimately it will depend on how many drinks per day you plan to consume. It also depends on how port intense your itenary is and if you'll be spending that time aboard the ship. (If you're off the ship, you're most likely not going to consume a lot of drinks onboard.) For most packages/drinks, I've been reading it's around 6 drinks per day to break even. Again, this could be slightly higher or lower depending on the cost of your drinks, etc. (I've assumed alcohol here for this response, not the non-alcoholic packages.) dacsmom Posted May 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2015 It all depends on how much you will drink. Be realistic about how much you think you will drink and multiple it by the cost of each drink. For me, it is worth it most of the time because I drink a lot of frilly coffees and water in addition to alcohol. For a port intensive cruise, it may not be worth it. I also like the idea of not having a bill at the end of the cruise.
