KTaylore Posted May 26, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2015 Just curious if anyone has specific information about room 9203 (on the Lido) on the Carnival Liberty? I've read that there is an obstructed view window that may or may not face a wall. It also may or may not have a handicap bathroom, and the room may or may not be slightly larger than a standard interior room. Has anyone here stayed in this room and could you provide insight or photographs? Thank you.
k2excursion Posted May 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2015 (edited) Outside the window is a public deck that doesn't get a ton of use. The deck overlooks the front of the ship, and there is a solid barrier there. You will barely see the ocean above the barrier from the room. There is some space between the window & the barrier. You will have easy access to this public deck. This room is a handicapped room. The room is larger than a basic interior and the bathroom is definitely larger. Go to cruiselinerooms dot com, and pull up the Liberty. You will find pics of room 9203 there. Also, check out the pics for room 9201. It's not a handicapped room, but there is a good picture of how the view is out the window. Edited May 27, 2015 by k2excursion

OntarioTraveller Posted August 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) We have stayed in this cabin on the Valor before the renovations. The bathroom is bigger to allow for a wheelchair. 2 people can easily get ready at the same time. The rest of the room is tight on space. The bed is right under the window and I think you lose one of the closets (2 instead of 3). Of course, no sofa. We loved being on a high deck, easy to get to Lido buffet. The deck outside is great. We enjoyed watching the ship dock and sail away from there. A great cabin for the money!! It is a handicapped room so you could be moved if they needed it. My husband has some balance issues and uses a walker so the lack of a lip on entrance to the washroom helps. But even we could be bumped if someone in a wheelchair needed it. We also like room 1003 and 1004, directly above 9203. Handicapped rooms as well, big bathroom but much more floor space in the cabin. Also up high with a deck in front.
