Oasis-getting towel at gangway

Please someone tell me whether we can get towels at gangway when we are at port for our excursions. I read one thread saying that Oasis doesn't give out towels at gangway, so we have to pick up towels on Deck 15 before the excursion.:confused:

Don't know about Oasis specifically, but most ships give out towels a deck or two above the gangway.

In November they had towels at the gangway, but you had to scan your SeaPass Card. We just grabbed 2 towels the night before from the pool so we didn't have wait in line for a towel or scan our SeaPass.

If you do this, do you have to scan your card when you return it? Do they charge you if you do not return it?

If they scan your card when you take a towel, then you must get your card scanned when you return the towel, else they will charge you $25 per towel.

Thanks, for our Disney cruise we just took our own towels, we may just do the same again.

That was the case this past February on Oasis. You had to get your towels from the pool deck. I'm assuming this was because towel sign out was alive and well on this sailing, and they didn't want to create a bottleneck of people signing out towels on the debarkation deck.
