POM to FLL- 410pm flight -- what to do??

When I get off the boat in Miami, I will have lots of time to spare since my flight out of FLL is at 410. I am not quite sure what to do since I will have luggage with me. I have looked at the Carnival transfers with an excursion but neither appeal to me.

 

I thought about a day room in FLL but then how do I get to the hotel? I thought shuttle from POM to FLL airport and then have their shuttle pick me up? But its expensive for a few hours and I am not sure I would want to go to this hotel anyways. Its a Rodeway and its $50.00.

 

Any other suggestions? I do not want to sit at the airport all day. (I got a great deal on a flight and its a non stop home)

Rent a car. Pop the luggage in trunk. Drive to wherever. Return at FLL in time to check in for flight. Problem solved! :D
