cruising march 2016 need info on hotels near port with cruise and park

Best Western Plus in Elkridge MD. It is outside of Baltimore, but offers free airport and cruise port shuttles and free cruise parking for up to 10 days.

We book it through Trinity Reservations and paid $109 total I beleive.

Coming from where? Any other requirements?

 

There are hotels near the airport with park and cruise packages, at least one near downtown, and north of town near Whitemarsh. Each area has pros and cons, some of which are directly related to your direction of travel in and out of town.

We'll be driving down from western NY; other family coming from Staten Island. Thanksgiving cruise this year. Recommendations for stay-and-cruise hotels welcome.

I'd probably look towards White Marsh. Hopefully someone pops up with a definite recommendation. There are at least a couple of places in that area that have done park and cruise packages that have been posted here. White Marsh is north of Baltimore. The airport hotels are south. You're coming in and leaving from the north, and there's a mall and shopping near White Marsh. It's going to be a longer shuttle ride to and from, but at the end of the second ride, you're already north of town on your way home.

There are several hotels in the area and some do offer park and cruise packages.

This area is right off Interstate 95 just north of the cruise port.

There are a Fairfield Inn ,Hampton Inn and a Hilton Garden Inn among others.

This area is about 15 minutes north of the cruise port with lots of shopping and dining options.

Anyone have any comments on the Microtel Inn and Suites at 1170 Winterson Rd, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090 US???

Is it a safe area, Is it clean, how far from port (claims just over 7 miles).
