roygg Posted June 2, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Looks like the UK further muddy the waters ? a) Book an Oceanview stateroom and receive a Select Drinks Package + $50 On-board Spend; or b) Book a Balcony or Concierge stateroom and receive a Classic Drinks Package + $100 On-board Spend; or c) Book an Aqua Class or above stateroom and receive a Premium Drinks Package + $150 On-board Spend. Midsomer Madness Posted June 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2015 Their pricing is way out as well, we did Fjords on Eclipse in May this year and paid just over £900 pp for a balcony cabin with free drinks and gratuities..same cruise in same balcony cabin next year is £1500 pp with free drinks and $100 OBC. Way overpriced for 8 nights!

Also, you can only filter the 'selected cruises' by departure port, duration or ship, not the much more useful region or month. Do they ever use their own systems? ailetoile Posted June 2, 2015 #6 Share Posted June 2, 2015 (edited) I'd like to know if this Select package is rolling out fleet-wide or if it is a special offer on a few cruises that is geared primarily to UK users. I'll update that drink FAQ accordingly as soon as some light is shed on this... Now that I'm looking around online, it looks like Select is a drink package that is available on RCL? I wonder if it's being rolled out to Celebrity or if this is a big mistake/misunderstanding? Edited June 2, 2015 by ailetoile
tercar Posted June 2, 2015 #7 Share Posted June 2, 2015 I booked a cruise last week from an American TA. With beverage package I am hoping that it's the classic package as until this morning I had never heard of select package.

Stuart Yes, very difficult to search the availability of the offer. I hate the use of the term 'selected' cruises. Also the selected cruises are only between 30 August 2015 and 30 April 2016. Not much of an offer unless you already had your eye on a cruise in that time scale!!
Little Nell Posted January 15, 2017 #9 Share Posted January 15, 2017 Bumping this up. I have just realised that we have been given the Select Drinks package on our upcoming cruise. We've always had the Classic Package and there is no mention of the Select Package online. We always upgrade to the Premium Package. Can anyone explain how that works if you have the Select Package?
