Can anyone tell me the web site for tour operators in Sydney?We want to visit Baddeck,the ship excursion is $39 US per person,but we thought it would be nicer to do the trip on our own,any suggestions.

We rented a car from enterprise and that was the way to go. We drove the Cabot Trail and it was beautiful. It is much better to rent a car. They were very helpful and gave us a map and told us right how to get there. If you need the information I have it just let me know.

I thought I read somewhere that Nova Scotia has beautiful handmade pottery. This is an interest to me since I love and collect pottery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We just returned from there and had picked up a cab at the pier. We had a most accomodating driver who you could make advance arrangements for your tour.

We used Tartan Tours last week in Sydney. We had a wonderful time going up the west side of the Cabot Trail; the ship tours were on the east side. We really enjoyed our tour, which we shared with some Cruise Critic friends. Our tour was 6.5 hours, which included our lunch stop (not included in price of tour). We were able to stop and take pictures whenever we wanted and Diane (owner) knew the best places to stop. She was a great source of information.
