Malta to Venice 10/2

We are about 2 weeks out from our trip on the Wind Surf from Malta to Venice and would like to know if anyone has any opinions/suggestions on excursions in the following ports: Taormina,Cephalonia, Corfu, Dubrovnick, Hvar, and Venice.

 

Any other fellow cruises out there?

We did the excursion to Taormina from the Windstar last week. It's a great little village, and the Greco Roman Theater was quite impressive. The guide, a teacher from Messina, was also good. Would definitely recommend this excursion.

Thanks for the advice on Taormina. Do you have any other recommendations? We leave on Friday . How was the weather?

It was very warm when we were in Taormina- shorts and sleeveless shirt weather. Hints on shopping- there are some great little prints of Taormina- 3 for 10 euros; pottery (plates, glazed stuff, hand-painted wine corks) were neat- wish I had bought some now! Right outside the Greco-Roman Theater is a beautiful hotel with a patio overlooking the coast- good place for tea/drinks.

Thanks again for the trip info, especially the Taormina tour. We will definately do it. I appreciate the tip about the hotel outside the theater - we will stop for a drink.

 

This is our 6th Windstar cruise but each one is so different, we are counting down the days!
