To use a travel agency or not?

Recommended Posts

I was quoted, by RCCL, a D3 for 2 for a grand total of $3,560.50... so out of curiousity I checked what Travelocity listed that category for... $3,100.50

That's a sizable difference, so it got me thinking about possibly using a travel agent. I've never used one in the past and I'd like to know the downsides to using one.

Docs, I have never had a problem with my TA getting me my docs. Insurance, use insuremytrip.com or similar and do it on your own. Excursions, you book on your own through RCI I believe, right online or call them when you are in the range. I don't see a downside for you yet.
