Do we need a PVP? Or are we good without a PVP. ours no longer works for Carnival. Didn't know if anybody could recommend a PVP? I called before we booked and got a female who really wasn't much help or a pleasure to talk with so we booked online ourselves. When do they do "final" upgrades when should I print out tags and paperwork?? We sail in August. Which dinning is best? Haven't cruised since my choice dinning. Is it the same food as the MDR? Thank you

But, if you are comfortable doing things yourself, that's fine. You can always call carnival and ask questions just like you can with a PVP.
To answer your other questions...
We really like the Any time dining and haven't had much of a problem or any with getting a table or having to wait for one. Yes, it's the same food. It has it's own dining room but the same exact menu.
