You can also choose to wait and add it onboard the ship (you can ask any bartender, drink person, or stop by the Guest Services desk). This will allow you to use OBC if you wish.

 

The downside to this is if there is a cost increase for the drink package, you will be stuck paying whatever the new rate is. By adding it now, you lock in the current rate.

We added ours on recently they didn't even ask for payment. Just added it right on. 8 of us did it separately no problems.
